Wests Tigers Kids Coaching Clinic & Balmain District Coaches – Wednesday 22nd March at Leichhardt Oval. 4-8pm.

A clinic run with the NRL First Grade Squad
Time: – 4pm – 5.15pm
Venue: Leichhardt Oval
5.30pm – BBQ for the kids as well as for the Coaches attending the District Update

At 6pm Justin Pascoe, CEO of Wests Tigers, will address the group and from there the Wests Tigers first grade coaching staff along with Ryan Dunlop and myself will take coaches through an upskilling session to give you plenty of different ideas to assist your coaching in 2017.

Justin will also take a group for all of the administrators in your club. It’ll be a great opportunity to get up close and personal and pick the brains of the coaches coaching at the elite level. It is really important that we have a great roll up of Club Administrators, Coaches, Parents attending this occasion. We are extremely lucky to have the opportunity

We will also be running club updates over 3 weeks in May (Tuesday – Thursday) and we will provide more information next week at the district update.

We are all really busy but it would be great if all clubs could ensure there is a good roll up of Administrators and Coaches, Parents and kids. The more people we have attending the more opportunities we have to have nights like these.

Please encourage parents to get along with their kids to the clinic to run with the NRL Squad Members.

Finally, we have updated our 2017 Education Calendar (attached). We are sneaking closer to the season and remember it is a requirement that anyone wishing Coach, run as a LeagueSafe Trainer, Level 1 Sports Trainer must be registered, hold a current valid Accreditation for the position they hold with their team (or be a coach in training) as well as holding a valid Working With Children Check.
